Sunday Kids' Church

We are lowering the age range of kids' church to what it was

before COVID, but this will be gradual.

**Currently, it is available for children from ages 3 - 4th grade.

In January 2024, it will be available for children ages 3 - 3rd grade.

In order to help younger children during the service,

extra worship activities will be available.

Thanksgiving Day

Thursday, November 23

8:30 a.m.

at Keith Hills

Instead of an entry fee, we request non-perishable food items for our local food bank or monetary donations to the Harnett Food Pantry.

This is the largest food bank donation each year.

Thanksgiving costumes are encouraged. Strollers and pups are welcome.

This is a great way to help serve our neighbors.

(If you have questions, contact Tammy Scarborough.)

The Floral Committee invites you to join them this Sunday

(immediately following the worship service)

as they decorate the church for the joyous Advent season.

CHURCH LIBRARY CLEANOUT

Please take time to look at the discarded books on the cart in the  Narthex. They are free to take. Books by authors such as Billy Graham,

Corrie ten Boom, Catherine Marshal & Charles Allen to name a few.

“Advent is a season to linger in longing. This poses a challenge in our tired, time-tabled culture. We are used to having what gratifies…”

This is the beginning phrase from our Advent devotional booklet, which begins on Dec. 3.

Please take a devotion book and spend a few moments everyday praying, reading and reflecting.

During this time of longing, as we wait for our Savior’s birth, let’s spend some time waiting with God.

Missions Mailbox

MBC Mission Kids are hosting their annual

Missions Mailbox

beginning this Sunday, November 26th through Sunday December 24th.

Missions Mailbox is offered for you to be able to “mail” a Christmas card to someone in our congregation. The mailbox will be set up in the narthex. The cost to “mail” a card is still only 25¢ each.

All the money raised will go to support a mission project.

CAPITAL DEBT CAMPAIGN

A generous donor has agreed to match, dollar-for-dollar, any donations

made to our capital debt between October 1 and December 31 up to $20,000.

That means every dollar we give will turn into two!

Thanks to the donor, and to all of you for your faithful giving to Memorial.
