BUDDY BACKPACK MINISTRY
Another year of Buddy Backpack is coming to a close.
That makes 12 years that Memorial has participated in the Buddy Backpack project!
TWELVE YEARS! Thanks to you, dedicated members and friends of Memorial, we have supported this project without fail. Twelve years of making sure children in our community who have food insecurity have received food for the weekend. I salute you and thank you for your generosity in helping this project continue.
You have contributed by donating needed items (this year we contributed nab crackers), donations of money, and time by packing weekly and taking the bags of food to Buies Creek Elementary School.
Those participating in packing and transporting are: Debbie Appel, Gail Cogdill, Linda Lunney, Cathy McLamb, Lisa Spainhour, Shelby Stancil, Barbara Taylor and Martha Womble. Without the help of all of you, Memorial would not be successful in helping with this project.
THANK YOU!
~ Alice Thomas
