15TH ANNIVERSARY COOKOUT FOR PHIL AND SUSAN MORROW

 

 Wednesday evening, June 29

5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The church will provide burgers (and a few hot dogs).

Those attending please make sure you RSVP no later than Monday afternoon so we will know how many to prepare for.


We thank The Morrows for 15 years of faithful service as Minister's of Music at Memorial Baptist Church. Music holds a powerful place in our service and helps the people enter into a worshipful atmosphere in the presence of God.

Appalachian Christmas Outreach

We have 24 backpacks to fill by Christmas, so we would like to collect items each month to fill the bags.

For the month of June, we are collecting Full Sized Toothpaste AND

'Fun Item' (substitution for a toy) for the oldest age group (15-17 year old's).

'Fun Item' examples are --

for boys: flashlight, small thermos, light blanket, earbuds, small tool kit, fishing gear, books, hunting/fishing/sports magazines;

for girls: jewelry, books, earbuds, skin care products, small travel sized hair dryer, hair accessories, etc.

Please deliver to the church office during the week or place in the basket provided in the narthex on Sunday mornings.
